Mr. Richard has been active in telecommunication, security, RFID and high-technology either in product design or consultation. Since the end of 2009, Mr. Richard gave many PCI DSS training sessions as well as helping merchant and services providers in getting certified. He is also active in the banking sector. He founded 3 companies and wrote numerous patents in security and technology. Mr. Richard has worked for Marconi (now CMC), Allan Crawford and Kontron. While managing a subsidiary of Munich based Kontron, Mr. Richard created and sold a FIPS certified line of hardware security module (HSM). This product line was sold in 2002 to Intel Shiva. Mr. Richard, recently developed products for the mobile micro-payment industry, involving security, faster transactions and better instant relational marketing. Mr. Richard has a Bachelor in physic engineering and a Master in electrical engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Montreal and an MBA Marketing from HEC Montreal. He is a registered CISSP. He is also involve in payment gateway for banks and large payment service providers
